APS Kindergartners Receive Bicycles Thanks to Denver Jewish Day School Students & Wish For Wheels

Boston K-8 kindergartners will receive brand new bicycles and helmets thanks to the generosity of their pen pals at the Denver Jewish Day School. These pen pals are fifth-grade students who worked all year to raise money for the event. They are teaming up with Wish for Wheels, a non-profit organization.

On Wednesday, May 13, every Boston K-8 kindergarten student will receive a bicycle and helmet. Their pen pals from the Denver Jewish Day School will join them for the special event. These students have already met and have been writing to each other throughout the school year.

This is the second year that Wish for Wheels and the DJDS have donated to Boston K-8 students.

About Wish for Wheels
Founded in 2004, Wish for Wheels is determined to make a difference by providing new bikes and helmets to elementary school kids. We are successful thanks to the generosity of our partners and volunteers in the community. Wish for Wheels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving schools in the Denver area. All contributions are tax-deductible and make a difference in a child’s life.
