Aurora Public Schools Introduces Interactive Map for 2016 Bond Projects
Map is first of its kind for Colorado

Aurora Public Schools has introduced an interactive map that allows the community to view the 2016 bond projects proposed for each school.  This is the first interactive map of its kind for any Colorado school district.  The map can be viewed at: http://bond.aurorak12.org/projects/

On Aug. 2, the APS Board of Education voted unanimously to place a bond question on the November ballot. If approved by voters, the bond would fund building and technology improvements at every school in the district.

The $300 million bond measure is based on the recommendations of the APS Long Range Facilities Advisory Committee, a group comprised of community members, parents, City of Aurora planning staff, and school and administrative staff. The LRFAC conducted a three-year study to prioritize the most critical projects out of $511 million in identified facility and technology needs.
