APS Early Beginnings Helps Teen Parents Pursue Education

Aurora Public Schools is excited to celebrate a new opportunity for teen parents. Early Beginnings will focus on providing quality childcare and parenting support for teen parents who attend APS schools.

The new early learning center will expand the existing Jamaica Child Development Campus with a specialized program for children ages 3 weeks to 5 years old.

Parents who are taking part in the Early Beginnings program will share their experiences. The celebration will also feature a ribbon cutting, building tours and free food.

The construction project was funded by generous donations from the Piton Foundation (through a donor-advised fund from The Denver Foundation), Foundation for Educational Excellence, Gates Family Foundation, Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation and Qualistar Colorado.

Please join us in welcoming our newest and youngest APS family members!
