Tollgate Showcases Building Remodel

 

Aurora Public Schools will host a grand opening to spotlight the building remodel at Tollgate Elementary School of Expeditionary Learning on Monday, September 30. Superintendent Rico Munn, the APS Board of Education and Tollgate staff members will host a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. The event will include an open house and free food.

The bond-funded remodel, which expands the school’s capacity from 538 to 732 students, includes a new classroom addition, a new kitchen and cafeteria, and a secure front entrance.

The project was funded with bond dollars approved by Aurora voters in 2008.
