CANCELLED: Tollgate Showcases Building Remodel

 

Aurora Public Schools will host a grand opening to spotlight the building remodel at Tollgate Elementary School of Expeditionary Learning on Thursday, September 12(cancelled due to weather conditions – will be rescheduled at a later date). Superintendent Rico Munn, the APS Board of Education and Tollgate staff members will host a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. The event will include an open house and free food.

The bond-funded remodel, which expands the school’s capacity from 538 to 732 students, includes a new classroom addition, a new kitchen and cafeteria, and a secure front entrance.

The project was funded with bond dollars approved by Aurora voters in 2008.
