WHAT: Special Education Advisory Committee Resource Fair

Special Education Advisory Committee Resource Fair 

***RESCHEDULED to April 13 due to expected weather conditions*** 

 

Parents and caregivers of special education students, community members and local educators are invited to the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) Resource Fair on March 9. Breakout sessions will provide information to help parents work with and advocate for their children with disabilities. Sessions include Behavior Management Strategies, Literacy for Parents and Understanding Your Student's IEP. Several community agencies and service providers will also be present. The resource fair will include giveaways and door prizes.

The SEAC is composed of parents of students with disabilities, teachers and administrators. The group's mission is to provide support and educational opportunities to community members, parents and teachers regarding issues related to students with disabilities.
