Aurora Public Schools Board of Education Executive Session

On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(g), to review application materials for candidates for the Superintendent of Aurora Public Schools. Application documents prior to the naming of finalists are confidential pursuant to C.R.S. 24-72-204(3)(XI)(A).

The executive session will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Annex conference room at the APS Professional Learning and Conference Center, 15771 E. 1^st Ave., Aurora, CO 80011.

On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(e)(I) relative to matters that may be subject to negotiation, namely an interim superintendent contract, and developing strategy and instruct negotiators regarding the same.

The executive session will be held virtually from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Public access to view the vote to enter into executive session may be accessed through BoardDocs.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is expected to recess into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(e)(I) relative to matters that may be subject to negotiation, namely an interim superintendent contract, and developing strategy and instruct negotiators regarding the same and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(b) for the purpose of obtaining legal advice on specific legal questions regarding a complaint made under policy AC.

APS & Pickens Technical College on One Hour Delay

AURORA, CO – Due to weather conditions, Aurora Public Schools (APS) and Pickens Technical College will be on a one hour delay for students tomorrow, November 18. School buses will pick up students one hour later than usual at their regular bus stops to take them to school.

Schools will still end at their regular times.

Staff members should report to school as close to their regular start time as is safely possible.
