Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College on One Hour Delay Feb. 7, 2019

Due to weather conditions, Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College are on a one-hour late start for students. Students should arrive at school one hour later. For those students who ride the bus, school buses will pick up students one hour later than usual at their regular bus stops to take them to school.

Schools will still end at their regular times.

Staff members should report to school as close to their regular start time as is safely possible. Please drive carefully and stay warm.

APS After-School Athletics & Activities AND Pickens Technical College Evening Classes Cancelled Feb. 6, 2019

Due to weather conditions, all APS after-school athletics and activities have been cancelled this evening, Feb. 6. Schools will dismiss at their normal times.

Evening classes at Pickens Technical College have also been cancelled.

Please note: After-school childcare programs and facility rentals at school sites will be open as normal.

Due to blizzard conditions east of Buckley Road, Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College will be closed on Tuesday, January 22. In the interest of safety, staff and students should stay home.
