The Children's Hospital Staff is Giving New Life to APS

On Friday, July 29, Children’s Hospital employees won’t just be saving lives – they will be improving the lives of APS students. Approximately 150 Children’s Hospital staff volunteers will meet at South Middle School at 8 a.m. to give the school a makeover featuring landscaping, fencing and park benches. The Denver Million Trees Program will bring 26 trees to the school.  

 

This is not the first time that Children’s Hospital staff has donated their time to improve an APS school. Last year, Sable Elementary School’s exterior was transformed thanks to Children’s Hospital volunteers and sponsors from throughout the metro area. This is the fifth year of this partnership.
